Dixie (Female, ~ )
ADOPTER NEEDED! Meet our BEAUTIFUL 4 year old Dixie. Dixie came to us with such a SAD story… her father died very unexpectedly and her mom had advanced dementia and could not take care of her. No one in the family could take her and she was in real trouble… Dixie’s whole world was turned upside down! We knew we HAD TO HELP! She went to a very kind foster where she was really nervous at first. But with kindness and patience, Dixie has found her happiness again! This LOVELY GIRL lives to play fetch and will chase the ball all day! She walks very nicely on leash and is great with other dogs. She sleeps soundly in her crate at night and has learned to hang out there when her foster dad leaves. She is fully house trained and vetted. Her perfect home would be active and have a nice fenced yard and preferably have someone who works from home. She would do well with another dog to hang around with but may be alright as an only dog if the humans are around a lot. This girl is absolutely FANTASTIC! !!

Duke (1/5 Yr Male)
ADOPTER NEEDED!! Meet GORGEOUS 1.5 year old Duke! Duke was dumped in a very rural area with several other dogs and a really nice family took them in. When they asked us if we could help this HANDSOME boy find his perfect home, of course we said yes! Duke is very SWEET and gentle for a 95lb boy. He is very good with other dogs, rode nicely in the car and is pretty good on the leash! He has always been an outside dog so he will need to learn his house manners but this FANTASTIC boy is worth a little training! He is currently in boarding and we REALLY want to find him a foster or forever home so he can begin his wonderful new life!

Grits (Male, ~7 y/o)
Meet Grits, a HANDSOME, SWEET and FRIENDLY, 5-7 year-old black lab who is thriving in his foster home! Since coming to the foster, he's discovered the joy of playtime! He is very open to learning and "will work for food". Grits is house trained, crate trained, and knows a few commands. He is terrific with the other dogs AND the cat in his foster home! Grits is HW-, neutered, microchipped, and fully vetted. He came in underweight but has bounced back and is now a healthy 70+ pounds. Grits is a HAPPY, LOVING BOY who is ready for his forever home!
Grits came to us with leash anxiety but due to the GREAT work his foster is doing along with one of our trainers, he is learning to walk more calmly on a leash and not react in fear. It is a work in progress and will require continued training with his new family. Due to this, Grits MUST have a physical fenced yard. He is very happy playing in the backyard and does not need a daily walk!

UPDATE! ADOPTER NEEDED - BEAUTIFUL, 10 month old Mallory is THRIVING in her foster home! While she was a little timid when she first arrived, she has gained so much confidence. She LOVES playing with her foster fur brother and enjoys following him around. She still gives the senior fur sister lots of room and respects her desire NOT to play ; ). She really enjoys spending time outside in the sun. She is fully house trained and can be trusted when left out while her people are gone. (She actually hates being crated and wants to be with the other dogs). Mallory is a true SWEETHEART who is going to be an amazing addition to her new home.

Mike and Tina (Siblings Approx 7 Yrs )
Mike and Tina have lived their entire lives together and now are looking for their forever home after their owner recently died. Mike and Tina are the SWEETEST most loving dogs and are bonded. We will not separate these babies; They must be adopted together. Both dogs are great with everyone, dogs and people, and have great manners. They do not jump when greeting you, know commands, are good on the leash, and are completely house trained. Tina loves to play fetch. Mike needs a privacy fence; He can jump a 4' fence. They love to explore their yard and play.

Nala (Female, ~1.5 years)
ADOPTER NEEDED FOR NALA! Meet GORGEOUS Nala - this 1.5 yr old, 50lb girl is SUPER SMART, LOVES to play fetch, and is FRIENDLY and OUTGOING! Nala has a ton of ENERGY and is an excellent athlete! She would be a GREAT candidate for agility. Nala has adjusted very well in her foster home. She LOVES to play with the 2 resident dogs and daycare has been a great way to get her energy out! SWEET Nala will need a family who will give her the exercise and training she needs. Nala’s foster mom has taught her several basic commands and she walks well on a leash but will need continued work on jumping and impulse control. Nala is VERY treat and praise motivated and she loves to learn! She is house and crate trained, she sleeps through the night in her crate without a peep! During the day, she much prefers to be with her family or at daycare if her people work long hours out of the home, she does fine for a few hours at a time in her crate though. Nala’s perfect home is one with at least one other very playful dog that she can be friends with, playing is her favorite thing! Due to her energy and tendency to jump up, she is appropriate for families with children over 15. A fenced yard and another playful dog are also a must for this sweet girl. She has not been tested with cats but has loved every dog she has met so far!

Riley and Shadow (9 Years)
These handsome boys were surrendered to a local shelter; The foster mom reports they are perfect house guests. Riley, yellow, and Shadow, black, are fully house trained, do not need to be crated when alone in the home, and are super cuddly. They are with a male resident dog and they are great. The resident dog says Riley and Shadow are couch hogs, lol. They rode great in the car and are a dream on the leash. They need to teach a few of our other rescue dogs a bit about manners because they are the best. If you are considering a new family member, please don't overlook these babies because of age. The old ones are the easy ones. PLEASE open your heart to these boys so they can live out the days being pampered.

Cooper (5 Mths)
Meet super sweet Cooper!! This handsome puppy and his sister were dumped at a construction site. They were found emaciated and brought to the local shelter. Cooper is a love and, despite what he has endured in his short life, the happiest boy ever; His tail never stops. Our vet thinks Cooper is about four months old and red bone hound. Cooper is in a foster home with three other dogs and his favorite thing to do is play tug or chase each other in the backyard, He is crate trained, house trained, and learning commands. He would love another dog in the house to play with.

ADOPTER NEEDED! Meet WONDERFUL 9 yr old Rocky - This SWEET boy was adopted from us as a puppy and has been completely LOVED AND CHERISHED for his entire life! Sadly for Rocky and his family, a serious medical issue has required the family to return Rocky to us. Rocky is currently in a wonderful foster home where he is learning the ropes of a new home. He is completely house trained, does not need to be crated when left alone and is VERY FRIENDLY WITH PEOPLE AND OTHER DOGS! He has been great with children also. Once he is familiar with the home, he is very settled and calm. But DO NOT COUNT THIS FELLA OUT! He has great energy and LOVES chasing squirrels and playing with other dogs in the backyard! He also enjoys a long walk. He is great on the leash until he spots a squirrel and then he will try to chase. Otherwise his leash manners are very good.
Rocky is healthy and will make a WONDERFUL addition to his new family! He needs a fenced yard and per our adoption policy is appropriate for children 7 and over. He will chase a cat so a home with cats is not recommended.

ADOPTER NEEDED! Meet PRECIOUS, 60 lb, 14 month old Sam! This DARLING boy came to us after he had been run over by a golf cart! He had a lot of bruising and scrapes but happily nothing was broken. He has healed nicely and is finally able to live without the cone - lol! Sam LOVES to play with his fur sister and enjoys having the zoomies around the fenced back yard. He is such a FUNNY, SWEET boy who loves attention. He's a smart guy who is learning commands and is getting better at leash walking! Sam is NOT a fan of the crate and can be left for a few hours free in the house. He needs a home with someone who works from home or can take him regularly to doggie daycare and he also needs another dog to play with. A fenced yard would be a big plus! Sam is appropriate for children 7 and over. We have not seen him with cats.

King is a super sweet and playful boy. Sadly, King surrendered to a shelter in December and they staff fell in love with him. King knows commands sit, lay down, drop it, and here. FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED! Meet PRECIOUS 10 month old Jack! This ADORABLE boy was found roaming around in a rural area and taken in by a very nice family. They searched and searched for his family but no one came forward to claim him! They are keeping him safe in their fenced yard but we REALLY want to get him into a FOSTER OR ADOPTIVE home where he can fully become part of a family and learn more about this ADORABLE boy! Jack is very PLAYFUL AND ENERGETIC! He is also SMART AND FOOD DRIVEN so he will be easy to train. Jack loves other dogs and is respectful of cats who show him who is boss [😜] This HANDSOME boy is going to make such an amazing addition to his new family! Due to his current lack of leash training he will do best in a home with a fenced yard. Due to his energy level, he is appropriate for children 12 and over.

ADOPTER NEEDED! Meet Tootsie!! She was reported to animal control as a stray...how does someone dump an 11 year old girl. Luckily, Tootsie found herself in animal control rather than beside the road dead. She is the sweetest girl and all she wants is to be loved. Tootsie's foster mom adores her and reports she is a perfect house guest with lots of personality. You can see by the pictures, Tootsie has a fun side. She watches over the house while her foster mom is at work and fell right into the routine within a couple of days. Please consider this WONDERFUL senior. You will not be disappointed and she will add lots of love to any home.
