FOSTER/ADOPTER NEEDED!! Indy is a wonderful lab with all the typical lab traits, especially energy!
He was surrendered due to no reason of his own. Indy is eight months old, handsome, sweet
and weighs in at over sixty pounds and has more growing to do; Knows a couple
of commands, met another dog with his tail wagging and a full body bounce,
and will need a home with a fenced yard. He was neutered this week and needs to stay quiet
for the next ten days.

Are you the loving hero super SWEET, SCARED Luna needs? Seeking a TEMP FOSTER/FOSTER or ADOPTER with no other dogs. This GORGEOUS girl was in a home with a small dog but dogs her size are just too intimidating for her right now. Luna is crate and house trained and pretty good on the leash. She is extremely loving and affectionate with her humans although it takes her a few minutes to adjust to new people. She needs a quiet, patient loving home to help her conquer her fears. This AMAZING girl is going to be such a treasure to her new family with just a little patience!.

Two year old Rosie is a cuddle bug and loves everyone she meets. Rosie is on the small
size weighing about fifty pounds, walks great on the leash, and her favorite
thing to do is to cuddle with her people! She is great with other dogs, had no reaction
when greeting dogs on the leash, rides quietly in the car, and appears
to be crate trained. We will get an update soon.

Waylon DOB 12/27/21
I am in love with this handsome boy! He was surrendered to us because he was chasing chickens and he did endanger a couple of them. Waylon is a huge hunk of love weighing in at 86 lbs. He is
an energetic happy boy who absolutely loves the water; If there's a lake, pool, or even a hose, he'll be right there.
Going for a walk is one of Waylon's favorite parts of the day. He does get excited when he sees other people
or dog and will pull. He knows basic commands, sit, down, etc. Waylon is crate trained and house trained.
Waylon has some anxiety when left alone and the current foster is working with him.

[✨] ADOPTER NEEDED [✨] Meet Bear, we think he is about 8 years old and bigger than 60 lbs.
From his foster family: Bear is our newest foster and what a sweet boy he is. This poor boy was found by a Good Samaritan along a busy section of Highway 77 in West Virginia. [😭] Futile attempts were made to find an owner but he had no microchip nor ID tags & appeared to have been dumped in the dangerous meridian. [😞] He is a labbie in a wonderful small package with a little beagle or basset added in. [🥰] He’s a low rider with his cute miniaturized legs & has so many great labbie traits - mellow and chill most of the time, adores snuggle and belly rub time, and takes great pleasure in his daily walks and meals [😆] . Bear does well with other dogs & likes children. [👍🏻] He is house trained and knows a few obedience skills like “sit, “off”, and “stay.” We are so happy Bear is now in a safe place awaiting a deserved loving forever home. [💕]

ADOPTER NEEDED! Meet GORGEOUS Sage! She is a SUPER SWEET, extremely FRIENDLY 6-year-old girl looking for her new forever home. She LOVES people young and old and is very good with other dogs. Sage is house and crate trained and rides like a champ in the car. She knows multiple commands and is great on the leash! According to her foster mom, she is perfect in the house.
We couldn’t figure out HOW this amazing girl ended up in the shelter as a stray until we got her into the foster home…where she shimmied under the wire fence! So, Sage needs a home with a sturdy fence, not just wood and wire. She loves to chase and is highly interested in squirrels, deer and bunnies! 💕]

ADOPTER NEEDED!! Hello, I am Molly- please read my entire bio- I am a 6 year old female English Lab. I am a shy girl who has great manners: I don’t jump, I don’t beg for food, I don’t get on furniture, I seldomly bark and I don’t get under your feet. I am house broken and walk well on a leash, especially on trails! I could use more walks as I am a tad bit overweight at 76 lbs. The vet said I should be 60 lbs. I am being fat shamed and put on a low calorie diet. Don’t they understand I am a lab and live for food? I ride well in the car and am getting closer to jumping in all on my own. I am trying to be brave but just haven’t seen a lot in my life. I need some patience and will probably never be a bar dog but I will be right by the door wagging my tail and jumping in place when you come home. I take a little time to warm up to people but have no problem with other dogs. My ideal home is one with another dog (I have special fondness for brunettes) and no children. They are so LOUD. Overall, I am a very sweet girl and will make a great housemate who will sit by your side and for ho.

Basil 7 Years
FOSTER UPDATE! Basil is a happy-go-lucky girl. She came to us with a torn anterior cruciate ligament after being dumped at the shelter by her owner. She had surgery and is doing well with recovery. She would love a home where she gets moderate length walks as she will never be an athlete, but really enjoys getting out for a walk between naps! Basil is house trained and crate trained, but doesn't need to be crated when alone. She loves a car ride and rides quietly. She has been great with other dogs and humans, but would be best in a home without cats. She also prefers lower energy dogs that match her style. Her foster mom reports she is the sweetest girl and an easy house guest.

ADOPTER NEEDED! Meet HANDSOME Gus! This AWESOME 2 year old boy’s human passed away and after a family member took him, he ended up outside on a chain [☹️] . Some Good Samaritans offered a better life for this SWEET boy and he was allowed to come to Lucky Labs to find his new forever family! Although he is pretty nervous in boarding, he is super friendly with humans and other dogs. This big lug adores a having his chin and neck scratched. All he wants in this world is to have a forever home and be loved!
FOSTER UPDATE COMING SOON: Gus acclimated to inside life quickly. He loves his two resident sisters,
is crate trained. hasn't had any accidents in a couple of weeks, and loves playing ball in the backyard.
Gus is learning house manners, he is really smart and very motivated. He will do best in a home with a fenced yard.

Charlie (7 Years)
ADOPTER NEEDED!! This handsome seven year old boy was dumped at the shelter after being found as a stray. Charlie clearly is looking for his family. He is a very sweet and loving boy who greets everyone with a tail wag.
The shelter placed Charlie in a foster home where he lived with several other dogs and did not need to be crated. He is house trained, he knows several commands. and is pretty good on a leash.
He weighs in at 60lbs, great size.
FOSTER UPDATE!! Charlie (FKA Ruffles) is an older perfect gentleman who enjoys long and peaceful naps. He loves to curl up in the bed with you, by your side or in a chair on anything soft. He is very observant and loves to watch out the window from the couch. He is hard of hearing and prefers to be where you are most of the time. He'll get the occasional playful side and likes to tap at your feet or hands. He knows paw and sit and will wait patiently to eat or be leashed. He loves to follow a good scent. He does not prefer dogs or people in his face(especially bugs) or pressing near his hips. Due to his hearing he can be startled easily. He is house trained, cannot be crated(he does not like it and will get out) nor does he need to be and doesn't bother trash. He loves his people and being around them. [Emoji]

Zuma and Ramsey DOB 3/27/21
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!!
Ramsey, the yellow boy, and Zuma, the chocolate boy, are siblings who are looking
for their forever home due to a very sad circumstance. Their loving owner, who
has a very rare cancer and is getting treatment in Houston, wants his best friends
to find a home where they will continue to live their very best lives. These two boys
are four years old, very sweet and happy, great with other dogs, not good with cats, house trained,
and crate trained. The boys have not been walked much and they will probably take YOU on a walk rather than the other way around.
Good information from the owner: A little more on Zuma. We originally did not plan on getting 2 pups. But when we went to see the little yellow pup, we noticed a sweet chocolate pup in a crate by himself. For some reason mom bit his tail and it eventually died and fell off. We felt so sorry for this little guy and took him too. He has a tail, just shorter than normal. Additionally, a few months later, he was attacked by another dog. There was trauma to his neck and throat. He is fine now but our vet recommended to not
a collar on him. No pulling around the neck, only use a harness. Ramsey has a little anxiety with
thunder and just gets fidgety.
